First Move

T’was the day of my first check up with a new OB GYNE in Angono, Rizal. That was also my first experience to see a number of soon-to-be-mother waiting for their turn. There are a few mothers also with their baby to make the regular check up with the doctor.

I felt differently amazed. I was so overwhelmed for them seeing those excited eyes especially those first time moms. Sooo cute! I felt like, I’m belong and exactly have the same excitement with them. I’m a little jealous to some though, because their tummies are like watermelons already unlike mine K I want to touch my tummy like them but I’m not used to it, thinking that I’m too young to feel such. Err. Enough of those other moms.

When it’s my turn already, the OB has this ultrasound thing where you can just hear the heartbeat of the baby but cannot see its movement or the body. It’s just like a speaker or something. Everything was normal. All her advises are just the same with others but then she gave me something called Pre-natal Book for the schedules of my check-ups, the results of ‘em. It’s like a journal of soon to be mothers like me and as I browse the pages, there are spaces for me to write on, picture frame border lines for my pictures and my tummy during my pregnancy, and something to read about to know more about the changes of my body, and the things that 

I have to maintain, or the foods I need for a healthy delivery of my baby J Soo cute!

The catch with this day is the first move of my baby! J Actually, I’m not sure if this is really HER(?) first move but as far as I’ve felt, this is the first one. It’s just like a pop in my tummy. I felt like there’s something that farted. Hahah. Or, a popcorn that had been popped. It’s so addictive. After that moment, I always want to touch my tummy and wait for her to kick if it’s really a kick. :P On that same night, I told Jong that I’ve felt her and we’ve waited for her again before we sleep and she didn’t disappoint her dad J Naaaww. Jong was like, kinilig after he felt it.

Actually, I’m not yet sure at that time, if she’s really moving cos it doesn’t feel like it’s moving. It’s just a pop. Haha. But after that night, the pop went along more often and sometimes, I have a position that she will really move. It’s so amazing! I can’t wait for her any longer! I want to cuddle her right now and feel her real movements. Her hands, feet, her eyes, lips, and I want to fondle my hands with her hair to her forehead, to her nose and lips. Eeeeehh. Kakakilig!
